This is a chewy and delicious sugar cookies recipe, very easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. No chilling required for this cookie dough!

Sugar Cookies Ingredients
200 g butter (room temp)
200 g white sugar
280 g all purpose flour
10 g baking powder
5 g baking soda
1 medium egg
7-8 drops vanilla essence
Baking Instructions for Sugar Cookies
Pre-heat the oven to 170 C.
Start beating 200 g white sugar into 200 g room temperature butter with an electric mixer, beat until the mixture is lighter in color.
Add one medium sized egg and 7-8 drops vanilla essence.
Add 280 g all purpose flour along with 5 g baking soda and 10 g baking powder into the batter. Continue to mix until well combined but avoid overmixing.
Either with the help of an ice-cream scoop or simply by rolling the dough in your hand place the cookie balls on a baking tray with parchment. Leave room for cookie balls to spread.
Bake for 15 minutes at 170 C, the cookies will have crunchy edges and soft centers. Let it cool down for a couple of minutes before removing from the tray.
